The result came from an initial step-out RC hole (25AYRC148) that returned 10m at 9.02g/t gold from ~253m, including 6m at 13.87g/t and a higher-grade core of 3m at 19.39g/t.

The hole finished in mineralisation and the system remains open, with the full extent of gold yet to be defined.

That intercept sits roughly 100m vertically below a previous highlight in diamond hole 25YMD002, which pulled in 23.97m at 2.54g/t gold, including 5.38m at 10.62g/t.

Together, the results confirm strong continuity of gold mineralisation down-dip and down-plunge along Arika Resources’ (ASX:ARI) Pennyweight Point structure, extending the system to at least 250m vertical depth.

The latest deep hit continues to build on an already impressive suite of earlier intersections across the prospect, including 35.67m at 2.14g/t, 14m at 15.48g/t and 30m at 3.86g/t gold from shallow drilling.

Each new result has reinforced Pennyweight Point as one of the highest-priority targets within the broader Yundamindra project, with every hole delivering broad zones of gold with higher-grade internal intervals landing right where the geological model predicted.

Drilling has been designed to test both near-surface oxide and supergene mineralisation to the west, as well as strike, depth and plunge extensions within fresh rock.

With around 23,000m drilled across Yundamindra so far and assays still pending for 30 holes totalling 5500m, there’s plenty more to come.

Final holes at Pennyweight Point will test further strike and depth extensions, along with deeper targets at the intersection of the Landed at Last and F1 structures, before drilling pauses for the year.

Rigs are expected to fire up again in early January 2026.

ARI managing director Justin Barton said this is a major breakthrough at Yundamindra and a fitting way to wrap up what has been a fantastic effort by the exploration team.

“Hole 25AYRC148 was designed to test for depth extensions to the diamond holes we completed earlier in the year,” Barton said.

“It is the deepest hole drilled at Pennyweight Point to date and has confirmed that continuous high-grade mineralisation extends for at least another 100m below the previous limit of drill testing.

“That’s a staggering outcome and demonstrates the potential size of the emerging system at Pennyweight,” Barton added.

“Importantly, each of the other holes completed to date have intersected the mineralised position exactly where our modelling predicted, which gives us great confidence moving forward – confirming that our targeting model is working.”
