The project is in a highly endowed region in Kalgoorlie, home to near-1Moz gold deposits within 10km – including Black Cat’s (ASX:BC8) Majestic, Fingal’s and Trojan mining centres.

Some of the historical structures at Crown can be traced through the +500,000oz Majestic mining centre, just 5km away.

The ~3,000m aircore program will be the company’s first drilling at Crown and also the first aircore drilling on the project.

It will test key structures and gold anomalism in historical RAB drilling which have never been followed up.

Auravelle Metals (ASX:AUV) management says the proximity of multiple significant deposits, with similar geology and structures, highlights the prospectivity of Crown for potential new gold discoveries.

Assay results are expected in early December, along with results from a large soil sampling program.

Auravelle shows no signs of slowing, with more drilling planned at its other gold plays in South Australia’s Gawler Craton next month.

Follow-up drilling is planned at Sheoak and Nuckulla Hill prospects in November 2025, where a review of historical soil sampling recently identified a 10km-long area of high priority gold and silver targets.

Further exploration and drilling is also being planned for the Tunkillia North project in 2026.

The company will carry out a first-pass site visit to the new Skye gold project in South Australia in Q1 2026 to assess drill targets.

“Auravelle’s active exploration program continues, with our first drilling underway at Crown following two drill programs in SA in the last few months, and a third planned for next month,” managing director Andrew Muir said.

“The anomalous gold from historical RAB drilling at Crown has never been followed up, and we look forward to testing the fertile structures and geology within the project, that is associated with multiple nearby significant gold deposits.”
