Despite the modest valuation, the low-key company has made a handful of announcements this month across multiple projects.

Infinity this week reported promising gold and antimony exploration results from the Tanjil Dome prospect in Victoria, including rock chips grading up to 48.7% antimony and 1.35 grams per tonne gold in quartz vein samples.

Soil sampling on a 50m by 50m grid defined a coherent antimony-arsenic anomaly extending over at least 500m and returning peak pXRF values of 751 parts per million antimony and 791ppm arsenic.

Infinity said the combination of coincident geochemistry, stibnite veining, gold-bearing quartz veining, brecciation and altered dyke material highlighted the potential for a structurally controlled antimony-gold hydrothermal system.

Victoria is already home to one of the Western world’s only antimony operations, Alkane Resources’ Costerfield gold-antimony mine.

Tanjil Dome is also just 100km from Southern Cross Gold Consolidated’s Sunday Creek gold-antimony project.

Dual-listed Southern Cross has a market cap of almost A$2.5 billion, thanks to discovery success at Sunday Creek.

The company has drilled almost 120,000m to date with results including 85 composite intersections exceeding 100g/t gold.

The development of a $30 million exploration decline recently got underway and Southern Cross has 11 rigs turning as part of plans to drill at least another 100,000m.

Southern Cross has defined an exploration target of 2.2-3.2 million ounces of gold equivalent at 6.4-8.3g/t gold and 0.8-0.9% antimony, or 8.3-10.6g/t AuEq.

An updated target is imminent, ahead of an initial resource in the first quarter of 2027.

Earlier this year, Infinity formed a farm-in and joint venture with Mining One Consultants over the ground in Victoria.

Mining One can earn up to 51% of the project by spending $500,000.

Pilbara copper

Infinity also owns the Hillside project in Western Australia’s Pilbara region.

This month, Infinity reported rock chips from Hillside grading up to 9.4% copper, 163g/t silver, 0.7g/t gold and 0.7% zinc.

Of the 36 gossan samples collected, 23 returned assays for base metals, gold and silver.

The samples were collected from 10 gossans which Infinity believes are consistent with volcanogenic massive sulphide-type multi-element mineralisation.

Surface mapping has defined a 9km trend containing 10 outcropping gossans, featuring two major surface observed zones over 100m in length and 30m in width.

Infinity executive chairman Cameron Petricevic described the results as compelling.

“In light of these assays, Infinity considers Hillside has high-conviction exploration potential and we are moving quickly to secure approvals for a drilling campaign,” he said.

Hillside is just 50km to the southwest of Develop’s Yitirrti project, previously known as Sulphur Springs.

Yitirrti has a resource of 17.4Mt at 1% copper, 0.3% lead, 5.8% zinc and 21.8g/t silver.

Develop recently made a final investment decision for the $450 million project last month, with first production expected in the June 2028 quarter.

NSW copper

Infinity also holds the Cangai copper project in northwestern New South Wales.

The historical Cangai mine produced around 5000t of copper from 1904 until 1917 at grades of 7-10% copper.

Historical stockpiles have an inferred resource of 4.4Mt at 2.5% copper and an indicated 200,000t at 1.35% copper for 114,000t of contained copper, as well as zinc, gold and silver credits.

Infinity is working on a resource update.

According to the company, due to inefficient historical smelting, the stockpiles contain up to 45% copper.

In November 2025, Infinity signed a binding memorandum of cooperation with Orivium Global, a specialist in the recovery of critical minerals and e-waste.

It came after laboratory test work demonstrated Orivium’s proprietary Super Oxidiser technology could potentially unlock significant value by recovering multiple precious and critical minerals from historical smelter slag and ex-mine oxide dumps.

In April, the pair expanded their agreement to include e-waste processing, targeting precious metals, base metals and critical minerals extraction.

Earlier this month, Infinity announced a breakthrough in the process of trying to unlock the value of the Cangai stockpile.

Metallurgical tests demonstrated copper extraction of effectively 100% in just a matter of days, rather than weeks, from random smelter waste samples collected from Cangai.

The tests on the Cangai tailings dumps were conducted by Orivium at the University of Sydney using state-of-the-art technology.

Infinity and Orivium are progressing plans for a processing plant with work underway on design, site approval and construction.

The proposed “capital-light” plant will be able to process ores and e-waste, with work underway to secure other feedstock for the facility.
