The RC program marked the first drilling at Davies No.2 in more than 30 years.

Patronus Resources (ASX:PTN) completed six holes to test for extensions of the mineralised system, including a northerly plunge.

Results included 10m at 2.05g/t Au from 52m in one hole and 9m at 1.32g/t Au from 77m in another.

A third hole returned two mineralised zones of 6m at 1.91g/t Au from 50m and 4m at 1.46g/t from 76m.

Another hole intersected 2m at 6.03g/t Au from 27m and 3m at 3.89g/t from 57m. It ended in mineralisation after being stopped early due to water issues, with Patronus planning to re-enter the hole during its next drill program.

Davies No.2 remains open along strike and at depth, with drilling so far testing the system to less than 100m depth.

A follow-up campaign is being planned.

“The first drilling at Davies No.2 in more than 30 years has delivered encouraging results, with consistent shallow gold mineralisation intersected across the prospect,” noted PTN managing director John Ingram.

“Importantly, Davies No. 2 is only one of several known prospects within the broader 4.3km by 1.8km Golden Dyke gold in soil anomaly.

“Most of these targets are yet to be tested by us and the area has seen very little modern exploration.

“These results give us a good basis for follow-up drilling at Davies and across the broader Golden Dyke area.”

Davies No.2 is one of at least four prospects within the gold-in-soil anomaly defined in the Golden Dyke target area.

The anomaly covers a 4.3km by 1.8km area identified through Patronus’ 2025 surface sampling and contains several historical prospects and workings.

Historical mining at Golden Dyke, Davies No.2, Afghans Gully and Langley’s prospects reportedly produced a combined 295,000t at 4.0g/t Au.

The new results at Davies No.2 build on the company’s recent drilling designed to validate historical results from 14 holes sunk by Kintaro Resources in 1988.

Patronus validated historical drilling and confirmed broad, shallow gold intercepts including 36m at 1.51g/t Au from surface, 19.4m at 1.57g/t from 18.4m and 27.4m at 1.58g/t from 24m.

A broader exploration program at Pine Creek remains ongoing, comprising about 30,000m of drilling and 3,000 surface samples.

Two RC rigs are testing priority targets with a diamond rig also recently mobilised to start drilling.

Only a small proportion of the group’s 1,500km2 Pine Creek tenure has been drill-tested so far.
