The assays, which averaged 55.6% iron, were predominantly from drilling in the southern half of the deposit, where there were a number of small shallow pits designed, however the mineralisation is now seen as continuous and suggesting the potential for larger pits.

The mineralisation is similar to Rio Tinto’s Robe Valley fines produced at the adjoining Mesa A and Warramboo mines, and other ores produced by Atlas Iron and Fortescue Metals Group elsewhere in the Pilbara.
