The hits were headlined by 13.1m grading 10.7% copper and 4.1 grams per tonne gold, with the drillhole interval considered to approximate the true width of the mineralisation.
“The latest results reveal consistently high-grade mineralisation extends continuously for 460m outside the current resource boundary,” FireFly said.
Green Bay’s current resource is 39.3 million tonnes grading 2.1% copper for 811,000t copper equivalent.
FireFly is targeting “substantial” resource growth.
A fourth drill rig is reportedly on its way to the historically mined underground operation.
FireFfy is overseeing the development of an underground exploration drive to assist with the drilling.
In terms of funding, FireFly unveiled a A$52 million raising in late March pricing new shares at an average of 64c each.
